I’ve travelled and/or participated in group trips o activities organized by Auqui on over 20 ocassions during the past seven years. I’ve visited Mt Ausangate, the Choquequirao archaeological site, rafted the Urubamba River, rode horseback in Maras, rode mountain bikes in Cusco and to the Manu National Park rainforest, birdwatched at Manu, YPO, and did promotional incentive trips (45 years old; over 60), among other experiences.

The two words that tie together all my experiences with Auqui are: Excellence and 100% Trust. I’ve met many of their guides, and together we’ve faced unexpected situations, some with possible risks. The professional approach and resourcefulness with which such situations were resolved, in very short order, and without loss of joy and good humor, have made travel with Auqui a unique experience that I hope to often repeat.

Their ability to share historical knowledge with academic accuracy, to share living cultural diversity, geology, history, ethnobotany, and their environmental awareness of the tourist areas make their services unique in the region’s market. If I had to assign a grade average to my over 20 trip experiences, I’d have no doubt in giving Auqui 100 percent.
